Rana Shah Nawaz is a highly experienced and accomplished Lecturer at Lahore Garrison University, where he has been serving for a considerable period of time. With over 13 years of relevant experience in the field, he is a seasoned professional who has made a significant contribution to the education sector. Prior to his current role, Rana worked with the Education Department of the Government of Punjab for more than eight years. During his tenure, he had the opportunity to work with prestigious organizations such as The World Bank, McKinsey, Chief Minister Road Map Team, Danish Schools of Excellence, PMIU, and PITB. He received training from foreign consultants and teams of The World Bank, ACER Australia, QAED/DSD, PTB, Danish Schools of Excellence, PEAS, and PEC. Rana has gained expertise as an IT Expert in PEAS, PEC under DLI-10 of The World Bank. He has developed DBMS, headed data entry processes of a Large Scale Assessment, worked as a Data Analysis Team, and written various reports for policy makers. He has also gained expertise as a Teacher Trainer/Resource Person/Trainer of IT-based trainings, design/conduct capacity building/training workshops, and educational material development. Rana has worked with several reputable organizations in the past, including the University of Gujrat, Lahore Sub Campus, where he served as a Lecturer [SE]. He taught BS honors students and supervised the Career Counseling Society and CE Fatima Jinnah Trust. He has also worked with the Education Department, Govt. of the Punjab, where he served as Deputy Director. He was responsible for chairing the Purchase Committee, in charge of vehicles, establishment/correspondence with Civil Secretariat, and office administration. Rana holds a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Riphah International University, where he completed his studies in 2019. He also holds a Masters in Computer Sciences from Imperial College of Business Studies, where he completed his studies in 2003. Additionally, he has an MS in Computer Sciences with a specialization in Software Security Testing from Riphah International University.
